Koffee With Karan Season 9: Karan Asks Salman “Are You Still a Virgin?” Again and Salman Says Control, Brother
The promo dropped on 13 October. Karan Johar introduces Salman Khan as the first guest of the final season of Koffee With Karan. The episode streams today, 14 October, at 7 PM on JioHotstar. Within the first minute the old line returns.
“Are you still a virgin?”
Salman does not answer with yes or no. He folds his hands and says, “Control, yaar brother. Control.” In one version he mimics the delivery associated with Ravi Kishan. The line is short. The history is not.
What the 2013 Answer Actually Was
In Season 4, Salman was the opening guest. Karan asked the same question. Salman said yes. He said he was saving himself for the woman he would marry. He said he had friends but no benefits and that he preferred sleeping alone. The clip travelled for years. Karan later called it a straight-faced joke. The line stayed.
Why the Callback Lands on the Final Season
This is the ninth and last season. Salman is the first guest. The promo also has him teasing that after Koffee With Karan it will be Koffee With Salman, and telling Karan “Tussi na jao” from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The virginity question sits in the middle of that banter. It is personal, public, and already famous. The answer this time refuses the direct yes or no and instead asks the host to control the question itself. The couch is still the same. The man answering is thirteen years older.
The Question
The 2013 yes. The 2026 “control, brother.” The final season opener.
Which reply are you keeping?
