The 2008 Horn Ok Pleassss Set Clip Is Back: Tanushree Dutta in Black Midriff Top, Dance Practice, and the Fight After Nana Patekar’s Death

The video is from 2008. It is running again now.

Tanushree Dutta on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss, in a black embellished top that sits like a choli, midriff bare, low-waist black skirt with silver work, heavy earrings and a belt. She is practicing the steps alone at one point, then with people around her. The floor is lit with fairy lights and mirrors. The clip shows her walking, turning, then later leaving the set. Subtitles in the version that went up note the waiting, the practice, and her sudden exit.

The post carrying it is past 2.2 million views, with roughly 10,000 likes and 6,000 bookmarks. It is framed as the day Nana Patekar allegedly misbehaved with her.

What the Frames Actually Hold
She is in the item-song costume the song required. The top is structured and open at the waist. The skirt sits low. The jewelry catches the light when she turns. At one stretch she practices with her back partly to the camera. At another she is facing forward, hands moving with the steps. The set looks crowded—crew, extras, people standing and sitting. One frame has her returning and starting the practice again. Another shows her gone and the others waiting.

The clip does not show a completed song. It shows the rehearsal that stopped.

Why It Is Moving Again
Nana Patekar died on 8 October from a cardiac arrest in Goa. Tanushree responded by calling it “evil dead.” She later compared the reaction to burning Raavan’s effigy and said she was not scared to speak. AICWA called the remark cheap publicity. She answered that the case and the years after it had been hard on her, that she had been offered money to withdraw, and that she had not.

The 2008 allegations were of unwanted proximity and intimate steps during the dance number. She walked off. Her car was damaged outside. An FIR followed in 2018. Police later filed a closure report citing insufficient evidence. Witnesses told investigators the two had been several feet apart during the steps. The case stayed closed. The video of the set did not.

The Question
The costume is what the frames keep showing. The fight is what the comments are about.
