In 2011 she promised to strip if India won the Cricket World Cup. India won; she did not perform the stunt, citing public backlash and a claimed BCCI refusal. In 2012 she posed nude after Kolkata Knight Riders won the IPL. In 2017 Google pulled her Pandey App from Play Store within an hour for adult content. On 5 November 2020 she was arrested in North Goa for filming a nude video on government property after a Goa Forward Party complaint. On 18 January 2022 the Supreme Court granted her protection from arrest after a Mumbai Cyber Cell FIR that also named Sherlyn Chopra over alleged sexually explicit content. On 1–2 February 2024 her Instagram announced she had died of cervical cancer at 32; the next day it was confirmed as a staged awareness campaign.
