Heena completed her schooling at Navodaya English High School in Mumbai and later studied at the University of Mumbai / polytechnic level before entering the entertainment industry.

She began her career as a background dancer, working with choreographers such as Ganesh Acharya and the late Saroj Khan for several years before moving into acting and item numbers.
